The finished result will boast; 0-1 years room 1-2 years room 2-5 years room We will intake from 6 weeks to 5 years Opening hours initially will be 8am-6pm which will be up for review depending on families needs What will we provide? History
A local Barrehead man Eric Burns, seized this opportunity with great interest and decided to develop a Private Nursery in the heart of Barrhead near the Barrhead railway station on Carlibar road. The building is an old station masters cottage hence the name "Railway Cottage Nursery". The building is being restored to boast internal reconstruction and external surroundings that will create and outdoor learning environment for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years.
The Manager of the Nursery, Fiona Chalmers, was appointed by Eric in December 2012 and together they are working together to cover all aspects of the nursery to get it ready for the grand opening. Please keep a look out for an opening event to come and view the nursery and see the remarkable change to the building.
